This week I've (mostly) been
One of my first business goals was to expand my professional networks, for peer support, inspiration, insights, referrals and opportunities to collaborate on new opportunities.
So, this week, outside of client-based work, I managed to find time to reconnect with the wonderful Laura Elson - she's an absolute expert on all things volunteering and a dab hand a grant writing too. Check out her website, https://www.lauraelsonconsulting.com I also met with Lewis Darby, founder of Yard B Studios via the brilliant Better Business Network.
I'm still loving the fact that, as a freelancer, I'm getting to expand my networks and meet inspiring people each week.
Plus working on a few proposals I cant talk about yet :-)
And I've been reading/listening
Learning about Sociocracy and Circles as part of more participative ways of working. Summary on Wikipedia here.
