It's been a while since I last posted - it's been a really busy and fun few months working with various clients and projects. In the past few weeks alone, my marketing and communications consultancy work has included:
Developing a content strategy with film, animation and design specialists Yard B Studios,
Strategic consultancy for community infrastructure charity Community First Herefordshire and Worcestershire
Stakeholder communications, campaign and content planning with rare disease CIC HBA Support,
Marketing and communications consultancy across a handful of projects for Birmingham Museums Trust.
Been such good fun - varied, interesting and impactful strategy and campaign work with brilliant clients.
Reset and refocus
Due to the intensity of the past few months, August is my reset month. I've chosen to go down to 2 days per week until September. My client Rebecca Middleton described September as the new January, with everyone coming back from summer holidays with new energy and urgency, so I've used that advice to breathe a little.
However, this week has been unusual as I had to prioritise non-work stuff that I won't go into here. I still managed to squeeze in:
Reviewing website updates, focusing on the first stages of the patient journey for HBA Support (thanks to Viki Lewis)
Refining social media approach for HBA Support, also with Viki Lewis
Liaising with Patient Panel on new information resources for people affected by hereditary brain aneurysms
Non-work related fun times
Also, some fun stuff this week too:
Bike ride around Herefordshire with friends from London Fixed Gear and Single Speed community. Included a bit of gravel/bridlepath, lots of mud and a bit of hike-a-bike as well as incredible views over Herefordshire and Worcestershire throughout and general good vibes
Walk and much-needed catch up with the wonderful and supportive Sarah Warburton
Behavioural work with Bluey (Did I mention I adopted a cat in June?)
Oh, and I rode a horse for the first time.
