The brief

To create the launch strategy for a new social enterprise, dedicated to supporting people living with familial intracranial aneurysm syndrome, a rare hereditary disease.​

The solution A strategy and launch for Hereditary Brain Aneurysm Support to establish it as a trusted and credible, patient-led organisation. 


The Action

Building the strategy and its subsequent delivery included stakeholder mapping, stakeholder engagement and networking, social media strategy, content creation and scheduling, and management of copywriter and web development agency.

 

I also worked with the founder to build vision, mission and values statements as well as governance structure ahead of launch.

Results

  • Social media reach: 18,000 people on Twitter and Facebook

  • 519 monthly website users from August to December 2022

  • Twenty meetings with organisations, including the Department of Health and Social Care, The British Society of Neuroradiologists, and the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

  • Active Expert and Patient Panels, giving insights and shaping work of HBA Support
